Chesney’s Super Bowl Memory

If you watched the Super Bowl earlier this year, you may have seen the moment when Kenny Chesney celebrated with New England Patriots’ owner Robert Kraft.  Kenny was a guest in the owner’s box for that game, played in Houston.  But for most of the game, the Patriots were losing to the Atlanta Falcons.  Kenny described that experience to Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton:

“I was up in the suite with the Kraft family, and nobody even wanted to look at them for three and a half quarters.  It was really strange. Everybody was really excited before the game, but for the next 2-1/2 hours, nobody wanted to look at anybody. I was in the suite with my dad, and all we did was get a beer, and come back and sit down.  Just look straight ahead.  We didn’t want to look at the Krafts.  But when they started to win, the suite became a lot more fun.”
