Charles Kelley: Baby’s 1st Show

Lady Antebellum headlined Nashville’s annual 4th of July concert.  The three members of the band brought their children to the show, and Charles Kelley said this was a first for his 2 year old son Ward.  Charles co-hosted Country Countdown USA:

“This was the first full show he’s been to. He comes to soundcheck in the afternoon. We typically don’t go on stage until 9 or 9:30, and he’s in bed at 7:30, but we started early, so this was the first time he was able to see a show, he was right on the side of the stage with his little headphones on, it was so funny. I couldn’t help look over and smile, he was in mommy’s lap. He watched the whole show. He’s got the bug, and that’s so cool.  All Baby Antebellum was there, Hillary’s older girl is a road warrior, so she’s used to the show, and Dave’s son Cash was there too. It’s fun, it puts things in perspective.”
