This week, Kane Brown co-hosts the Countdown, and tells Lon about his brand new album, recent wedding, and winning three American Music Awards.
Kane just released his second album called Experiment. He tells Lon: “I knew I wanted to have fun, up the energy of the show, and add elements of old school country music, like fiddle and banjo, and added it to new school songs that gave it a different feel.”
Kane got married last month. He told Lon: “It was fun, went by super-quick. Dudes don’t dream about what their wedding is gonna be like. Being there that night, it couldn’t have been better. However, we ran out of beer before dinner was over. So that was kinda bad. We needed more beer.”
In honor of the wedding, Kane got a new tattoo: “I got ‘Kaitlyn’ on my thumb. The day before the wedding, I flew my tattoo artist to the wedding, so 15 minutes before I walked down the aisle, I had it done, so when I gave her the ring, she saw it.”
Kane just got a new truck, which he drove to our studio. “I was involved doing the color scheme, I also had a hand in designing the grill and wheels. You’re the first one in the industry to see it.” You can see Kane’s new truck here.
Kane told Lon that while he was in LA for the American Music Awards last month, he went shoe shopping with Thomas Rhett: “We went to Flight Club in LA. I bought my wife some ‘Yeezies’ for her wedding gift. They’re Kanye West shoes. Both Thomas & I are huge sneaker heads.”
Kane also has great stories this week about Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, Jimmie Allen, Dan & Shay, and Chris Young.
