Brantley & Jana Set A Date

Brantley Gilbert & Jana Kramer got engaged on January 28th.  Now we know that the two have set a wedding date.  Brantley shared that information with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton: “Yes.  We have set a date.” This year? “Yes.  I’m in a hurry.  She said ‘yes,’ and I’m hoping she says ‘I do,’ and we’re just gonna roll with it.”  A check of their tour schedules shows they’re each pretty busy with concerts until October.

The engagement was an interesting story, done on Brantley’s birthday at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. “We rented out the Ryman for the day, blindfolded her, and she was trying to figure out where we were going by counting stoplights.  She said yes, she’s my best friend in the world, and thank God, I’m blessed to be able to love the most beautiful woman in the world to ever love me back is really cool.”

How’d you two meet? “We met at the CMT Awards, and she was looking first, I don’t care what she says, she’ll probably deny that, but she was looking first, she’s admitted it on two occasions with witnesses.  But I was there with a girl I dated in college, we’re friends now, she saw Jana & I looking at each other, and she asked, ‘What’s going on?’ And she told me who I was looking at.  Finally my agent walks her up and introduces us.”
