Dierks Bentley headlines The Big Bash: Nashville’s New Year’s Eve, Friday night from Bicentennial Mall in Music City. The show will be broadcast live on CBS-TV. Prior to the show, Dierks was asked if he’d ever done a show on New Year’s Eve: “I haven’t played a New Year’s Eve concert in a really long time. I decided I just wanted to be a regular fan of New Year’s Eve. But when I found out this big CBS special was happening in my adopted city of Nashville, I really wanted to be a part of it. There’s no reason why country music shouldn’t be the #1 thing for New Year’s Eve. So I’m really excited to showcase our city on CBS.
We asked him what people can expect: “Artists will be performing at the big stage on Bicentennial Mall to Luke Bryan’s bar, Miranda’s bar, my bar, Aldean’s bar. It’s unbelievable, it’ll be the most exciting thing to see on TV for all the country fans. It’s long overdue for our city to have a show on New Year’s Eve. It’s definitely unique to any other show out there.”
